Giftbar: Free Gift on Cart

A cart progress bar that adds a free gift automatically when the order reaches your goal.

Choose one product and one cart subtotal. Shoppers see how much is left to unlock the gift, and the gift goes into the cart on its own the moment they get there.

What it does

  • Multi-milestone progress barShows how much is left to unlock the gift, with an optional second marker for your free-shipping threshold.
  • Adds and removes the gift for youThe gift enters the cart as soon as the qualifying subtotal is reached, and comes back out if the cart drops below it. One gift per order.
  • A real 0-priced line, not a discountThe gift is a hidden copy of your product priced at 0, carrying the original price as its compare-at. It stays free from the cart through checkout, with no discount code involved.
  • Cart pages and cart drawersThe bar works in both on Online Store 2.0 themes and keeps the cart in sync as quantities change.

Requirements

An Online Store 2.0 theme. The bar ships as a theme app embed: turn it on once in the theme editor and it appears in the cart.
